Indonesia Power Generators by Technology

This dataset contains processed power generator records for Indonesia derived from the Global Energy Monitor (GEM) Global Integrated Power Tracker (March 2026 release) and Global Coal Plant Tracker (January 2026 release).

Citations to the original source data should follow GEM's recommended citations: "Global Integrated Power Tracker, Global Energy Monitor, March 2026 release." and/or "Global Coal Plant Tracker, Global Energy Monitor, January 2026 release."

The processing workflow filters records to Indonesia, merges generators by unit identifier, enriches coal units with performance and emissions attributes, adds CHP and captive power plant labels, and standardizes province names. Citations to the processed dataset should use the citation under "Cite This Dataset" on this page.
