China Mainland Interprovincial Transmission Network (500 kV and Above)
This dataset contains curated records of interprovincial transmission capacity in mainland China for high-voltage DC lines (EHV/UHV) and AC lines rated 500 kV and above. Voltage levels include:
- AC: 500 kV, 750 kV, 1000 kV
- DC: ±400 kV, ±500 kV, ±660 kV, ±800 kV, ±1100 kV
The downloadable CSV file aggregates individual lines into province-to-province links and includes estimated transfer capacities. It does not include coordinates or detailed geometries for transmission lines, towers, or substations.
This database is compiled and validated using a large volume of publicly available online sources. Additionally, OpenStreetMap serves as an important source for cross-validating part of the data. See Methodology for details.
